Rob was an inspiration to me. He was one of the most genuine people I've ever met and his amazing depth of knowledge and insight was always something to behold. I became friends with Rob when we were both involved in political activism in NYC, and I'm so grateful to have known him. The world has lost a very special person. Deepest condolences go out to his wife, friends, and family.

Rob did amazing work for our students and faculty at Pratt. I leaned on his expertise heavily to make sure that my students enjoyed enlightening lessons in the Pratt Computer Labs. Rob was warm, funny, and very helpful. He will be sorely missed by the Pratt community, including professors like me who knew how critical his work was, and by students who may or may not have been aware of the pivotal role he played in their educational experiences. My most sincere condolences to Rob's family. This is a terrible loss.
