Mr. Convery was my teacher at school#5 in 1963. I can clearly remember him taking an unruly student (Boris ) out into the hallway to reprimand him. When he came back in ,his face was ashen as he announced to us that JFK had been shot.We were not as politically wise as the kids of today are and we were more interested about what happened to Boris. With patience and words we could understand, Mr Convery explained the magnitude of what happened.
He was a great teacher and it looks like he went on to a very successful family life and career. RIP
