BAES, Ronald A. Otsego, MI Ronald passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Wings Home in Allegan. He was born September 4, 1949 in Benton Harbor the son of Edward and Caroline (Howard) Baes. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Ron had worked for Atlas Press/ Clausing Industrial for 17 years until his retirement in 1987. After his retirement he had worked for Pfizer until 2004. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting traps of many kinds, he was a member of the North American Trap Collectors Association. On November 21, 1970 in Benton Harbor he married Jeanne Bauske who survives. Also surviving are their children, Ken Baes of Otsego and Heather (Carl) Klotz of Allegan; grandchildren, Kierstin Baes, Carl Klotz II, LaVon Klotz and Vinny Klotz; his parents Edward and Caroline of Coloma, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may visit with Ron's family Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, starting at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M. with Hospice Chaplain, Greg Carlson officiating. Burial of ashes and military honors will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. Contributions in memory of Ron may be made to the Disabled Veterans of America or to the Wings Home of Allegan. Messages of condolence may be posted at www.WinkelFuneralHome.com
