Howard J. Monceaux
LAFAYETTE - Funeral services for Howard J. Monceaux, 80, of Lafayette will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 3:00 PM in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA. Military Honors will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery with Deacon Tim Maragos of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
He was born on April 4, 1935 in Rayne, LA to the late Molton Monceaux and Eunice Estre. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict in the U. S. Air Force as a Technical Sergeant.
Howard is survived by two children, Andrew Monceaux of Lafayette and Michele Novack and her husband Joe of San Antonio; two grandchildren, Andrew Monceaux, II and Kaley Monceaux; his brother, Leonard Monceaux; and three sisters, Shirley Latiolais, Jocelyn Landry, and Barbara Zimmerman.
He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Ann Monceaux, three sisters and two brothers.
The family will receive friends at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on February 13, 2016 from 9:00 AM until the time of service.

We will all miss Uncle Howie! His joyful nature and good humor made him an asset to our family. The world lost a great man. I am so happy we had him for as long as we did.

Andy and Michelle, Janice and I are so sorry about your beloved Daddy. Howie was an exceptional man. We believe that he is actually in a better place now and is already hugging Ann. I know you will miss him. We love you.
