November 29, 1932-February 10, 2016 DEL CITY Carlos Dean Goodnoh, 83, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016, and joined his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born November 29, 1932 in Oklahoma City, OK to Edgar Guy and Eula Bell (Link) Goodnoh. After high school graduation he joined the USAF and served during the Korean War. He worked in the oil industry followed by several years as a U.S. Postal Letter Carrier and his years before retirement as a Deputy Sheriff for Oklahoma County. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Dale Goodnoh. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Jane (Matney) Goodnoh; children, Deana Thayer (Kenneth), Mark Goodnoh (Lorna), Joseph Goodnoh (Patricia); grandchildren, Lauree Miller (Jason), Lyndye Goodnoh, Leslie Cobb (Joshua), Andria Stoumbaugh (Andrew), Stefanie Thayer, Christina Clark (James); step-grandchildren, Destini Ayers and Tre Smith; great grandchildren, Autumn Goodnoh, Portland and Austin Cobb; step-great grandchildren, Ava and Wyatt Ayres; daughter-in-law, Laree Crossland. A funeral service will be held 10am on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at the Sooner Baptist Church, Midwest City, OK. Interment will follow in Sunny Lane Cemetery.
