Funeral service for William Albert Moore, age 95 of Clarksville, will be Thursday, Aug 25, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Outreach Church. Rev. Tommy Vallejos and Rev. David Wesner will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Aug 24, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home and Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the Faith Outreach Church. Pallbearers will be, Tim Sims, Ed Nolen, John Holva, Gary Smith, David Greenwell and Jason Davis.
William "Bill" passed away on Monday, Aug 22, 2016 at TN State Veteran's Home. He was born on March 27, 1921 in Montgomery Co. TN to Ernest "Bud" Moore and Annie O'Brien Moore. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and Faith Outreach Church, and a member of the VFW for over 60 years. He was a WWII Veteran of the US Navy and was a business entrepreneur and owned several businesses in Clarksville over the years.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers; James, John W., Elzie, Audie and Otis Moore, sisters; Mildred Perry, Geneva Sholar, Viola Haddock, Dorothy Vashville and Cassie Byrd. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
