Romeo P. Page, 76, of Bristol, husband of Paulette (Royko) Page of Bristol, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 in Hartford. He was born May 20, 1940 in Caribou, ME and was a son of the late Eusebe and Eva (Cote) Page. He retired from The Shaffer Co. as a heating/plumbing technician. Romeo was a parishioner of St. Ann Church, Bristol, and was a member of the Elks Lodge #1010, Bristol, and Mickey's A.C. Club. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them participate in many sports activities. He enjoyed visiting with his "coffee shop" friends every afternoon. Romeo was an avid Red Sox, Patriots and UCONN Basketball fan, both men's and women's. He also cherished his time spent in New Hampshire. Besides his wife, he leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Craig A. and Cynthia Page of Tolland, a daughter, Michele M. Page of Bristol, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Jeanette Page and Norman and Jane Page all of Limestone, ME, five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Almeda Fuller of Caribou, ME, Jeanette Bacheller of Carson City, NV, Arlene Howard of Amelia, OH, Eleanor and Leigh McCormack of Murrells Inlet, SC, and Joan and Clarence Dennison of Gilford, NH; three grandchildren, Ashley Loomis, Alex Loomis, Ana Page and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Sylvio Page and a sister, Yvonne Lemieux. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 10am in St. Ann Church, 215 West St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Avon, CT. There are no calling hours. DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Ann Church, 215 West St., Bristol, CT 06010.
