KAREN D. Age 63 of Brighton passed away August 27, 2016. She was born in Lansing the daughter of Paul and Loraine (Butler) Palmer. Karen enjoyed gardening, lunch with friends, her red sports cars and spending time at the pool. She also enjoyed being at home and taking care of her son Clayton. She worked for Kmart as a Textile Color Expert. Karen is survived by her son Clayton, her father Paul, brother Craig (Joyce) Palmer, father of her son Thomas, dearest friend Glen Seger and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Keehn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. Memorial contributions in Karen's name may be made to the Susan G. Komen Fund for breast cancer.
