PEMBROKE – David Alan Buttrick, 75, of Pembroke, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, at Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen.
David was born July 20, 1941, in Concord, to the late Ronald A. and Lucy (Tatro) Buttrick.
He was Vice President of Utilization of Energy North, 1963 graduate of UNH with a Chemical Engineering Degree. David served his communities as a selectman in Webster, on the Board of the Salvation Army, Board of Merrimack County Diversion Program for First time offenders.
He was a member of Air National Guard, An avid Fly-Fisherman who taught many children and was a member of the Wantastiquet Fly-Fishing Club of West, Vt., Fiance charman of two local Methodist Churches, Member of Rotary Club of Bow and of the Scottish Rite of Free Masonary.
Survived by his wife Leni Lee (Baldelli) Buttrick of Pembroke, who he married in Needham, Mass., on Feb. 14 1964; one daughter, Melanie Lord; one son, Bradford A Buttrick; and long time care-giver and brother-in-law, Glen Baldelli; many cousins, nephews, nieces, one granddaughter, Alicia M Spataro.
Services will be held Tuesday, Nov 1, at 11 a.m. in Contoocook United Methodist Church, Contoocook.
Burial will follow in Evans cemetery, Bow.
Donations may be mad in his name to the Alzheimer Foundation, alz.org/donate.
