Don Mariano, as I used to call him, was no doubt a very special man, whom I will always hold in great esteem. For all of the years that I knew him, he was a most respectful and well-centered man. I never saw him lose control of his temper, no matter the situation. He and Cristina made an amazing and loving pair together, a true example to all that knew them. Don Mariano, you will be missed.
Que en la Gloria de Dios descanse.
