today another of my suns set
and Walter
you were one of the brightest
you were more a brother
than a brother-in-law
tomorrow my world will be duller
there will be fewer jokes
and less laughter
the world has lost a measure
of its caring and compassion
and will miss all that you gave
always there when needed
always there to help
I know that you are still here
in the minds of those who knew you
still brightening our tomorrows
some suns never truly set
Ger

To the family, I'm very sorry to hear of Walts passing. I had the pleasure of taking care of him and MaryAnn. Enjoyed his stories of being in the service and sharing jokes with him. He loved telling jokes. He always said "drive careful" as I left the house and I'll remember his kind smile.

This man was so loved by so many. The smile on Nancy's face every time she ever spoke of or thought of her Dad was heart-warming. He was the highlight of every event ever held by the Endicott Sertomas. He never stopped smiling and making people laugh. I add my prayers to the entire family, with a warm hug to Nancy/Vic.
Rest In Peace Sir.
