We would also like to thank the VA for the amazing benefits and care he received through them. He is lovingly survived by his children Tom (Blanca), Ed (Bethnee), Barbara (Roy) , Dan and Bill, along with seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Celebration of his life will be held on January 28 at Mystical Rose Bluebird Dr. Interment to be in a private ceremony at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Santa Rosa, CA. Three grandchildren and one niece all from out of town attended the funeral. A mass was held at the cemetery chapel with an air force honor guard from Travis AFB present to play taps and to present the flag to the family. The burial followed at the cemetery with my Dad being buried next to my Mom. A reception followed at the Petaluma Yacht Club where stories about my Dad and his family were shared. Music that my Dad liked such as German Beer Garden Music was played in the background. Lots of joy and laughter. The weather that day was cloudy but the rain held off at the burial service although it was really slippery, muddy and wet at the grave site that was on a slope.

We will always cherish the great memories we share of our times together with my uncle Gerard Haury and his family as we grew up and raised our families together. He was always a fun loving, talented and really interesting person to be with. I'm sure the Lord will enjoy his company there in Heaven, as much as we have here on earth.

Uncle Gerry is at peace with those who preceded him. When I saw Uncle Gerry in his Uniform I was really impressed, he took such great pictures and he developed them himself.
A very talented person, may he Rest In Peace, Annie and Mike Burke
