Dear Pat and family,
I have many fond and special memories of Al. It was Al who hired me for my first teaching position in Plainfield and Al who introduced Walt into Rotary.
Al believed in the importance of service to community and country. He gave his energy to supporting programs that gave young people the opportunity to learn and grow.
The world needs more men like Al. We were all blessed to have known and been friends with him.
Fondly,
Diane McKain

Dear Mrs. Mizak and family, Mr. Mizak was a wonderful man. He got me involved in a building committee in the early 1970's and I taught French and English when seventh and eighth grades went on double sessions so many years ago. I remember you both from Mass at All Hallows; I made many friends in the Plainfield Schools because of his encouragement to get involved with the school system. God certainly holds him dearly in the palm of His hand. Sincerely, Irene Caron Rose and Perry Rose

To all the Mizak Family,
We are so sad to hear of Al's passing. It is so hard to lose a parent......the ones that brought us in to this life through love. Such great memories of vacations together and who could forget the weekends when our parents headed north to VT and all of us kids hung out together under the watchful eyes of the older siblings!
wishing you all peace,
