Tanya Ferguson Obituary
CHARLESTON, IL – Tanya Hudson Ferguson, age 74 of Charleston, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 at her home. Per her wishes there will be no services and burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Charleston. Because of her love for animals, especially her cats, thoughtful donations in her honor may be made to the Coles County Animal Shelter and may be mailed in care of Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Dr., Charleston, IL 61920.
Tanya was born March 27, 1943 in Charleston and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Klara Hudson. She is survived by a son, Mike Ford; a stepdaughter, Kathy Carey; two sisters, Valerie Leonard and Stancey Granger; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece and also her caregiver, Teresa Edwards. She was also preceded in death by a sister Chrystal Edgin.
Tanya retired from Eastern Illinois University where she was a building service worker.
