Bruce R. Crimmins 1938 - 2017
LITTLE FALLS - Mr. Bruce R. Crimmins, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, in the comfort of his home.
Born on January 10, 1938, Bruce was the son of the late George, Sr. and Elizabeth (Klimacek) Crimmins. As a Little Falls High School graduate, he entered the Marine Corp in 1957 and served until 1960. He continued his education in engineering, later working for Lockheed Martin as a mechanical engineer. He also worked for the Little Falls Police Dept. as a Dispatcher. After his retirement, he took a position with the Enea Family Funeral Home until the time of his passing. He was a lifelong parishioner and usher at Holy Family Parish in Little Falls.
Bruce had a love and passion for the game of golf. Every moment he had, he would play the Little Falls Golf Course. He was also an avid sports fan, especially when the NY Yankees and the NY Giants were in season. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching old western movies and playing a good game a pitch on Monday evenings. Most of all, Bruce adored his family. When they needed him, he was always there to guide them through life.
Surviving are his three daughters and a son-in-law, Michele Crimmins, of Little Falls, Kristin and Art Eunson, of Ballston Lake and Karen Crimmins, of Whitesboro; and his grandchildren, Adam Miller, Carson Marko, II, Simone Eunson and Nicholas Eunson. He is also survived by his special friend and ex-wife, Cheryl DiCesare; and his great aunt, Margret Prochazka; along with many nieces and nephews. Bruce was predeceased by his brother, George Crimmins, Jr.; and his sister, Barbara Darling.
Bruce's funeral service will commence Friday (today) morning at 9:15 AM from funeral home and at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish, Little Falls, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Rev. Terence Healy, Sacramental Minister. His burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
On behalf of the entire staff at the Enea Family Funeral Home, we want to thank Bruce for his dedication and service to our home. He will be deeply missed.

Fond memories of planning and playing golf events with Bruce and during the time he worked for me at Conmed Corporation. Great fun to be around.

It simply doesnt get any better than Bruce. He was a joy to run into and a lovely man to have as a neighbor, in the 70/80s. One could only hope/wish for, a world filled with the character and kindness of Bruce Crimmins. His death is a serious loss to the community, his loving family and many friends.
