DeBoer, David 10/21/1936 - 12/13/2017 Pinckney, MI His Legacy...David DeBoer, 81, passed away December 13, 2017. He was born on October 21, 1936, in Owosso, Michigan. His father and mother were Joseph DeBoer and Maude (Hendricks) DeBoer. David married the love of his life, Lisa (Cotner) DeBoer, on September 23, 1994 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The ceremony took place during a tailgate party in German Park celebrating the first football game of the year. David will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, son and brother. After graduating from the University of Michigan, David traveled extensively. David loved history. He loved reading about it or watching history programs on television. David eventually opened his own printing business in Ann Arbor. He shared great relationships with his employees and was loved by them in return. One of David's favorite thing to do was to invite his friends and neighbors on the chain of lakes to tie up and share stories and friendship on his deck as he sat in his favorite spot and 'held court' as the master of ceremonies. His Family...David will be missed by his loving wife, Lisa; his brother, Tom (Lana) DeBoer; his children from his first marriage, David (Barbara) Morrow and Sabrina Morrow. His Farewell...David's family and friends will gather in the spring. Please leave a message of comfort for David's family at 1-877-231-7900, or sign his guestbook at www.borekjennings.com.

I spent countless hours with Dave, laughing at the news and watching Connections, Cosmos and The Lathe of Heaven.

Sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Many memories of visiting the print shop and ending up in lengthy discussions about life, the universe, and all that. Dave was a unique, wonderful person.

So sorry for the family's loss. It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved, but the love of family and friends can carry you through. May your treasured memories and the drawing close to God in prayer help comfort you in your time of sorrow. (Psalms 66:19,20)
