Herman Franklin Russell . age 84, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2017 at his beautiful home in Fallbrook, California. He was born in Custer, Michigan where he grew up. Went into the Air Force and after serving, attended and graduated for the University of Michigan, with a degree in engineering. Later moved to Sunnyvale, California where he as employed by Lockheed Missiles and space for 30 years. That is where he met the love of his life, Sue Russell.

Retired and relocated to Fallbrook, Ca. serving as a volunteer,board member,treasurer of many organizations in Fallbrook. For 17 years Fallbrook food pantry was his home away from home. Computer club, TOPS Weight Group, and just about anything else he may be called upon to maybe give a hand. He was a member of Christ The King Lutheran Church in Fallbrook, Ca.

Always had a king loving way about him to work and do whatever needed to be done.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Russell of 45 Years. Stepson James Tutorow (MaryJean), 3 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, 2Great Great Grandchildren, Sister Dorothy Kaufman, Numerous loving Nieces and Nephews, Sister in Law Phyllis Ashley and Brother in Law Theodore Fanning.

He was predeceased by his Son, Curtis Russell, and one Brother and three Sisters.

Memorial Service will be held at Christ The King Lutheran Church I Fallbrook, California December 21, 2017 at 11:00am. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fallbrook Food Pantry or Cancer Society

I can remember him coming home from the service and my mother making cimmion rolls for him. When I graduated from high school he sent me an electric shaver, what a treat. While my wife and I were on a honeymoon trip out west, he took time and showed us around the bay. He introduced my wife to lobster at a seafood place. You were always there for me during my life. Enjoyed every moment with you. Always wished we had more time together. I looked up to you, great role model for our family. Always had a lot of fun with you. We love you more then words can describe!

Uncle Frank was the first of the Russell clan that I met. What a great guy. I had the pleasure of staying with Sue and Frank several weeks and enjoyed every moment. Jan and I enjoyed many adventures with him. Always such a pleasure to be around, he will be grealy missed. We love you, Uncle Frank!

You will be missed. Family outings and get togethers will not be the same without your funny humor.
