Mildred Ross Gibson, 94, of D'Iberville, Ms. passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.
Mrs. Gibson was a longtime resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. For the past year, she had been a resident of Greenbriar Nursing Center in D'Iberville. For many years, she was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Captain Eli W. Gibson, US Army Ret.; parents, Charley Ross and Lillian Arceneaux Ross; siblings, Patsy Ross Nash, Doris Ross Havelin, Charley Ross, Jr. and Edna Ross McCormick; and a daughter, Katheryn Gibson Bakker.
She is survived by her brother, Gerald Ross; children, Jane Gibson (Kenneth) Bleakley, Kristine Gibson (Jacky) Smith, Debra Gibson (Danny) Sepesy, and David Kai Gibson; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Greenbriar Nursing Center, as well as the amazing people at Kindred Hospice for their care and support of Mildred.
All of us will miss her lovely smile and wonderful sense of humor.
Visitation will be held at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Ave., on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 11:30AM -12:30PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:30. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery on Pass Road, in Biloxi. A reception following the interment will be at the Moose Lodge, 5145 West Gay Rd, D'Iberville, MS.
