St. George Creaghe (pronounced Cray), age 94, died September 21, 2018 in Baton Rouge, LA. He was born August 7, 1924 in Cimarron County, Oklahoma (west end of the Panhandle). He is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie Tran Creaghe, and 2 children: Dr. Richard Fitzroy Creaghe of San Rafael, California, Dr. Ann. Creaghe Heymann and son-in-law Rahmi Heymann of Dallas Texas. Dr. Ann has 2 children: Benjamin and Adam- my only grandchildren. During World War II he served 30 months and 10 days in US Navy Construction Battalions (Seabees). His unit visited Eniwetok, Guam, and Iloilo, Panay, Philippine Islands. He was discharged in January 1946 as a Coxswain. He graduated from the University of Colorado in June 1950 with 2 degrees: Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. He has worked for Morrison Knudsen, Sinclair Refining Company, Phillips Petroleum Company, and Standard Oil Company of Ohio, American Petroleum Institute, Ethyl Corporation, and Albemarle Corporation. In his employment, he had traveled the world extensively in both refining and petrochemicals. He has many friends, both personal and professional. Memorial services to be held at a later date.
