ANCHOR MAURICE VAN GUNDY ANCHOR Maurice Van Gundy Anchor of College Park, Maryland, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 in Lanham, MD. He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian Marie Anchor. He was born February 7,1932 in Washington DC, a son of Martin and Corrinna Anchor. He is survived by three children and their spouses, Donna and Robert Ferrari, Mark and Leslie Anchor, and Brian and Laura Clark Anchor; nine grandchildren, Courtney Ferrari, Robert Ferrari Jr., Kristy Ferrari, Sydney Anchor, Caroline Anchor, Hailey Anchor, Tyler Anchor, Andrew Anchor and Morgan Anchor; two sisters Meg Murphy and Roberta Warren. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, November 6, 2009 at McDow Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009, at McDow Funeral Home, 1701 West Main Street, Waynesboro, Virginia 22980.
