Marie A. Carbellano, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 15, 2010. She was a very talented seamstress working in the garment distrct in New York City and expertly made items for St Patrick's Cathedral and family wedding gowns as well. Later on she was a "cherry dipper" as one of her many jobs, the family having fond memories of 'red finger tips'. Marie loved scratch off lottery games, her trips to AC, shopping and always enjoyed her sips of wine. She lived her life to the fullest. She was always a giver - not a getter and would always sacrifice to make sure her children had. Marie was a considerate and loving Mom whom her family will miss tremendously. Marie is predeceased by her husband of 49 years, the late Alfred F. Carbellano in 1995. She is also predeceased by a brother and two sisters, Michele (Michael) Camanda, Angela Romanelli and Anne Pantone. Marie is survived by her children, Maria & her husband Ronald Bauer, Anthony Carbellano & his wife Linda, Elizabeth & her husband John DeBlase, and her siblings, Dominic Comanda & his wife Leah, and Lorraine & her husband Donald Hall. Marie also leaves her seven grandchildren, Dawn Granata & her husband Gaetano, Eric bauer, Nicole Carbellano, Christine Carbellano, Vincent Carbellano, Andrew DeBlase & his wife Jennifer, and Thomas DeBlase with 3 greatgrandchildren, Brendan Granata, Nicholas Bauer, and Adrianna DeBlase.
