I met Mark when I was a manager at NY State Parole and realized that I knew him from St. Andrew's. He was a respected public servant and a fine person.

Dear Joanne and family, I was out of town when I heard about your dad and am sorry I could not be there for you. I will always remember the great stories you told all of us about your dad. Mark was a wonderful man and a respected leader. Under his direction the Erie County Probation Department became one of the best in New York State. He is one of the few men I have ever met who could be strong and gentle at the same time. He is missed already.
