Ruby Fritz passed on at the age of 82 on October 13th, 2010. Funeral Services will be held at Goetz Memorial Chapel on Saturday, October 16th at 10 am, with interment following at San Geronimo Cemetery. Please visit our online register book at www.goetzfuneral.com.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Ruby Ida Fritz (Merz) but I am sure that the family is very fine and compassionate to all who know them. I only know one of the daughters, Jan Reaves, through my doing business with Frost Bank. Jan is one lovely person who has been so helpful to me. I am sure that is because Ruby Fritz was a wonderful person who transmitted those qualities to every one of her family! My prayers are with each of you. The Lord is your Shepherd, lean on him!

Ruby always thought of me as one of her own "granddaughters" and I always thought of her as my other "oma". What a beautiful lady who will always hold such wonderful memories in my heart. From babysitting me as a newborn, to crocheting beautiful quilts, and watching me walk down the aisle, the memories will never leave me. You are our Angel. I love you Oma......

I would like to send my condolences to family there in Seguin. Aunt Ruby will always be remembered for her large spreads of food! She was a wonderful cook. I remember visiting she and Uncle Atley and she was always a warm caring heart of a person! She is going to be missed by all!
