Ron & I go back to 1953/1955! He was my supervisor when I went on active duty at NAS Glenview. At the time Ron and Mary were good friends to me and my late wife. I ran into him again in 1957 when I came out to California for "B" school at CBC Port Hueneme! I spent at least two weekends with them while they were stationed in San Deigo. Ron and Mary introduced me to the "gold" in the beach at Coronado. Additionally, the warned me about scorpions in shoes if I ever got stationed in Hawaii.

I never met Ron during my Naval service but I spoke with him many times when he assigned Draftsman to their duty stations. He was always very helpful and tried his best to give you a duty station of your choice. He indeed was a credit to the Navy during his Naval career.

Ron brought sunshine to my life and to all of us who spent time with him every Thursday - his big ole smile just lit up the room, and his witty sense of humor had us all laughing. He was such a delightful gentleman of the "old school", and I will miss him greatly.
With my love and prayers for Mary, Karen and Bruce,

I did not have the honor of knowing Mr. Adams, however I do have the honor of knowing his very special daughter Karen Adams. The stories I have heard about Ronald Adams lets me know that this man was an honorable and good man. I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Adams passing, but I know he is now at Gods side and is a happy man.

Mary,Bruce and Karen,
Ron was a very special man and our family will always remember him. He was in the service with my oldest brother, Bob Canfield and the two became such good friends and shared many good times together. I can only hope the two of them are together once again enjoying a joke or two.
With all our love,
