I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Virgie's passing, you will miss her. But you had a lot of good years and a lot of good memories that will be with you forever. I still remember when Dad (Brown) and Mom would take us to visit when you lived by the railroad in Berry. We always had such a good time. Your mom was always smiling and laughing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To my dear cousins and their families, Last time I saw Aunt Virgie, I was with my sister-in-law, Barbara Jean(Haden's wife) visiting her mother at North Point Nursing Facility. Though years have passed, my memory of her and the fun we cousins had at our family gatherings are very vivid. Hard to believe she is the last of Dad's (Vardy) large family. Aunt Virgie was a fighter and her long life of hard work, love of her family, her role of mother and homemaker are all evidence of that. Do know our prayers and thoughts are with each of you. We plan to be with you tomorrow as you say your final goodbys to your precious Mother. It will be good to see you after so many years but, I'm sorry and regret that it is at this occasion.
Love to all of you, Jennie & Albert Smither

I am truly sorry to hear of Mrs. Cole's passing. Takes me back to the days of the little MYF group at Berry Methodist Church. I have many good memories of those days and the good people from that era. Mrs. Cole was a pillar of strength for her family and highly respected by all who knew her. She will be truly missed. My deepest sympathy to the entire family.
