We are so very sad to lose Uncle Sidney. He was such a loyal, fun-loving, and loving man. I have special memories of him, from the time he came home from Japan, looking so handsome in his uniform, to his wedding, to his loyalty to my father. He will always be in my heart.

My Uncle Sidney was a Man who, in his own, unique way, would encourage all who met him to be their best and give their best. At times he would talk to me as if I were one of his children, in a caring way, as an adult offering me advice constructively - and never condescending. I am so very fortunate to not only have known him, but be related to him and have a very personal bond. I will miss you Uncle Sidney.

Sontz Family,
Very Sorry to hear of Sid's Passing. Most of you do not know me, Cousin Charlie Snyder. Cynthia and Harold so sorry, for your loss. Did not have a relationship with Sid as an adult; but always had nice feelings associated with him. He was a pleasant, good natured "guy".
Sorry again.

"Unbelievable!"
My son Levi asked my wife Holly, "what is a funeral?" Her response was, "a time when people who loved grampy would gather and talk about him in positive ways." Levi then stated, "then there are going to be a lot people there."
Everyone says their dad is the best. But ours WAS.
George Washington. Thomas Jefferson. Abraham Lincoln. Sidney Sontz!
Dad, you are deeply missed, and loved forever!
One of his many wishes, among the many things he wrote,
"My wish and hope for all our grandchildren, is to be educated and grown up, to be street smart and make their parents proud."
I will let you know dad, I will strive to be, and make no mistake, your grandchildren will do as you wish, and more. May I become the father to my children you were to me.
Thank you for being my dad, being a positive role model for family, friendship, and community ;(
