John Cassiere, 42, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Queens, John was a lifelong resident of Old Bridge, graduating from Old Bridge High School. He was a dock builder for Dock Builders Union Local 1456, in New York City.
John was predeceased by his father, Louis Cassiere. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Castro) Cassiere; his son, John Louis Cassiere; his daughter, Haven Hazard; his sister and brother in law, Susan & John Fenton; his sister and brother in law, Catherine & Patrick Pisani; his niece and goddaughter, Lilianna Grace Pisani; and his mother, Mary Catherine Dillane Cassiere.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 9:30am at St. Bernadette Church, 20 Villanova Rd., Parlin, NJ. Interment will follow to Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
