Dolores K. "Spike" Nielsen, 84, died after a brief illness April 30, 2013.
A member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, she was a member of the Altar Guild, the Medina Spinning and Weaving Guild and the Handweaver's Guild of America.
Preceded in death by brothers, Donald (Carol) and Ronald (Margaret) Speicher and sister, JoAnn (Ronald) Bott, she is survived by husband, Olaf; children, Paula (Robert) Wade of New York, Eric (Jean) of Richfield, Lisa of Richfield, and Peter (Renae) of Salem; grandchildren, Kari, Erica and Janna Wade of New York; Kyle and Trevor of Richfield, and Gina, Laina, and Hunter of Salem; great-grandson, Cameron of New York; brothers, Kenneth (Delores) Speicher of Tallmadge and Richard (Judy) Speicher of Wadsworth; and a niece and nephews.

We will have a moment of silence to remember our dear Spike at our ED Lunch next Feb. Spike loved visiting with all her co-workers and telling stories of old times in the ED.
