Oh Inge -- what a lovely woman. We said "Good bye" to each other before I left for California and she was at peace. Her death nonetheless has left an empty space in my heart. My return, yesterday, to Taylor Ave was bitter-sweet. So many memories of times shared with her -- she really was a treasure trove of life experiences that she often told me about. Through these stories she demonstrated her strength, her caring, her humor, and most of all, her love of her family. I hope now that they can find joy in her life that eases the pain of their loss. It seems to work for me.
RIP Inge.

With deepest sympathy to her family for their loss and to all of our Newell Park neighbors! She was our historian!
Inge was a treasure and I will miss visiting with her on her porch on her lovely porch. I have many fond memories of Inge; her strength, independence and courage is second to none! I will raise a glass of port in her honor and memory.

My Oma was one of the strongest women I know, always smiling, laughing and she loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Everyone should know she did not suffer at the end and went peacefully. The last few days of her life the one thing that made her really smile was her newest great grandchild Corbin. Seeing them interact was a true miracle to watch...we love and miss you Oma!

To the family of Inga..I was sitting outside of the family home just yesterday evening (Aug 7th, 2013)at 8:30pm..I saw the lovely flowers on the rails and the shades pulled upstairs..I wanted to see Inga in the porch so I could come and visit but thought she was asleep.. and now I find she is asleep with God and her spirit had called me there...We shall all miss her strength, willpower and welcoming warmth
