Agnes V.
Agnes V. Butler, age 81, of Northwood, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013, at Orchard Villa, Oregon, Ohio surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 19, 1932, in Lexington, Alabama to Asa and Amanda (Griffin) Barnett. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Agnes will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, James (Jane) Butler of Flower Mound, Texas and David (Sandy) Butler of Orange Park, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and sister, Canera Wisdom. In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm; son, Jerry Butler; daughter, Sheila Brown, and sisters, Mary, Marcy, Marie and Pauline.
The family will receive guests Saturday, August 24, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the Elkins East Chapel, 7435 Highway 72, Killen, Alabama. Interment will follow in Butler Cemetery.

I married into the Shivak family ( Ray) in 1960 and remember how close your families were,I remember a lot about that time but the one thing that sticks with me is that your Mom dampened her clothes for ironing and left them in the freezer for months. A strange thing to mention I know but wanted to you to know that I remember her fondly.All of the Shivaks are gone now and I know you have suffered losses as well, you are in my thoughts.
