What a wonderful, generous man. He was my volunteer at Carondelet Manor. I always enjoyed when he would come and we would talk of everything especially the movies that he had seen. May he rest in peace. Sister Suzanne

a great man that will be missed

October 13, 2013

My Uncle Paul was a wonderful man who brought a lot of joy and fun into our family. I will miss his cheerful attitude and his presence in my life. No one can replace him or imitate him. He was truly an original.
I want to express my sympathy to my cousin Bill, to the grandchildren and the great grandchildren. I know that Bill grew into a responsible and caring man who built a successful business. I know your Dad was proud of your success.
Towards the end of my Uncle's life, my two loving and wonderful cousins and their husbands did things to make my Uncle's life more comfortable. They were with him when he probably felt confused and afraid. Thank you Mary Ann and Diane for your loving hearts and your care for him.
One story that brought my Uncle to laughter was when he was working as a roofer. My Uncle had hardly no hair on top of his head, but no one knew this because of the careful way he combed his hair. One day while the wind was gusting, my Uncle's hair flew straight up in front of a co-worker who witnessed my Uncle's hair flying back revealing a bald head. The man fell off the roof laughing so hard. My Uncle loved telling that story.
Now, go into Heaven and find your audience to amuse. You will always be in our memories, Uncle Paul and I love you.
