Rachel Jan Chinnock

Rachel Jan Chinnock, age 57, a resident of Wheaton, died October 26, 2013, at her home. She was born August 29, 1956 in Houston (Bellaire), Texas.

Rachel moved to Brownsville Texas from Houston in 1974. She attended and graduated from Brownsville High School in 1974. She attended Texas Woman's University, University of Texas-Austin,
and Pan American University-Brownsville. Although she attended 3 Universities, she graduated in 3 years with High Academic Honors.

She married Alfred Ernesto (Neto) Roser in 1977 and had two children, Shawn Patrick Roser and Meghan Rachel Roser. She was employed at Pan American Bank, Valley Regional Hospital, Roser Customs Service Inc., and Roser & Associates.

She enjoyed gardening, dancing with her dance group, reading, good hearty discussions and watching her children participate in activites. Rachel also loved movies, both at the theater and watching her favorites again and again on VHS and DVD. She loved to talk and laugh with friends.

She is survived by her son, Shawn Patrick (Jill) Roser of Carol Stream; her daughter, Meghan Rachel Roser of Noblesville, Indiana; grandchildren Amelia Julianne (7), Callista Elise (5), and Logan Maverick (8 months); stepmother, Carla Cole; and stepsister, Sarah McCaghren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Jan Chinnock, and her brother Keith Chinnock.

A visitation will be held November 1, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Wheaton, Illinois 60187, where a funeral service will be held November 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private in Brenham, Texas.
