Charlebois, Elizabeth
It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the sudden passing after a brief illness on October 30, 2013 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Bernard (Bernie) Charlebois, loving and treasured mother of Sherry (Rob) Hartung and their family, and Blaine (Chris) Charlebois and their family, dear sister of the late Meryle (Ted) Kalbfleisch and his wife Helen, aunt of Andrew, Richard and Bradley and their families. Predeceased by her parents Ed and Viola Kalbfleisch. Words cannot express our deep sadness and heavy hearts. You are gone but never forgotten. At Betty's request cremation has taken place with interment to follow at Kitchener Mount Hope Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, ON N2G 1C7 on Monday November 4, 2013 at 2 pm. with visitation one hour prior. Reception to follow at the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Special thanks to the EMS team, Grand River Hospital Emergency (Kim) and ICU (Dr. Plaxton, Amy, both Rachels and Tatiana) for their caring and respectful treatment of our Mother, and for their compassion and kindness in guiding the family through this journey. Memorial donations may be made to the Grand River Hospital ICU, the KW Humane Society or the charity of your choice. My late Husband&i met Betty&Bernie about 20 years ago in the Dominican Republic,we had a wonderful holiday& have kept in touch ever since.Betty was a wonderful sparkly kind lady,loved by all who knew her,I will miss her letters& family updates very much.Im sure she will be up in Heaven with Bernie& my Bertie partaking of a wee Dram.My thoughts& prayers are with all the family.May God bless you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with Sherry, Blaine and their families on the passing away of their Mom. For all the years I have had the pleasure of knowing Betty, she was truly a wonderful person and super mom. She will be dearly missed!

I am going to really miss Betty. She was a wonderful, bright and positive woman. We enjoyed talking about so many things but especially the old neighbourhood I grew up in. I wish her peace now.
