Fisher, James E. Age 88, of Fort Myers, Florida, died January 9, 2014. Jim served our country in the U.S. Navy, was a member of Masonic Lodge #1098 of Lombard, Eastern Star of Lombard and past Commander of District #22 U.S. Power Squadrons, Fort Myers, FL. Loving father of Dawn Fisher and Greg (Bonnie) Fisher and brother of William Fisher. Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Fisher. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., all at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17W201 Roosevelt Rd., Oakbrook Terrace, IL, for more information, please call 630-941-5860 or visit www.chapelhillgardenswestfuneralhome.com. Gregory, you have my deepest sympathy in the passing of your father. Jim was District Commander in District 22 the year before I was. I was District Cdr in 1996-1997. Jim was a delight to be around. He had a great sense of humor. I enjoyed Jim and Marge a lot. I have very fond memories of our time on the District Bridge together.
