Eileen was born November 20, 1925 in Quinnesec, Michigan and grew up in the Manistique area. She met her husband, Kenneth Belanger, shortly before moving to Seattle in 1946 and they connected once they both moved to Washington. They were married July 31, 1948 in Stevenson, WA and started a family soon after.
Eileen passed away January 16, 2014 at the age of 88.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny; brothers, Robert and Richard; father, Walter; and mother, Grace.
She is survived by her brother, Raymond (Skip) Cummings; sister, Sandra McMahon; sons, Dave and Bob Belanger; daughter, Cindy Frazier; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Eileen is perhaps best known as being an avid bowler and loved most competitive sports. She also enjoyed getting together with her "Birthday Club" ladies, a group of women who started celebrating monthly back in the 50s. She also loved to take her grandchildren to Ocean Shores every summer when they were growing up.
