Born Feb 1, 1948, Randall passed away Feb 3rd at his home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was a 1965 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, where he was an outstanding football player.He later studied forestry at The University of Florida.
Randall was the owner of Sundancer Fisheries out of Mayport, Florida, he was Captain of The Seven Arrows and The Sundancer commercial fishing vessels. He also operated Timucua Charters, a guide service for both salt and fresh water species.
He was an avid outdoorsman and lived his life around the hunting and fishing seasons.He was well-traveled, well-read and well-respected for his uncanny ability to locate fish and game. He seemed to know when the fish would bite and the game would feed, aiding him in acquiring numerous world-class trophies.Equally at home on land or the high seas, he was highly regarded by his peers. He loved a good challenge and felt like Mother Nature was a great adversary.He was a student of local and Florida history and Native American Indian cultures.
Randall was preceded in death by his parents William B. Dyal and Dorothy Demerit Dyal.
Randall is survived by son Richie Brian (Celeste) Dyal and grandson Wyatt William Dyal of Jax Beach; sister Jeanette (Werner) Schimmelbusch of Washington; brother R. Darryl (Denise) Dyal; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, Feburary 15th, 2014 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Main Street Chapel 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville Florida 32206.
The family request donations be made in Randall's memory to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida 4266 Sunbeam Road Jacksonville, FL 32257.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Main Street Chapel.
