Peggy Jean Robbins Edwards, 67, of Galax, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Forsyth Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 9, 1946, in Boone, N.C., to Kate Ruppert Robbins and the late Hardin Monroe Robbins Sr. of Haw River, N.C.
Survivors include her mother; her husband, Lonnie Lee Edwards of the home; two children, Dennis James Stewart Robbins and wife, Linda of Snow Camp, N.C., and Renee Inman DeAngelo and fiancé, Sid Rampy of Carolina Beach, N.C.; two stepchildren, Lee Edwards and Vickie Edwards Duncan of Martinsville, Va.; two brothers, Hardin Monroe Robbins Jr. and wife, Elaine and James Robbins (Cotton) and wife, Rachel of Lenoir, N.C.; five sisters, Edna Johnson and husband, Larry of Graham, N.C., Helen Wade of Burlington, N.C., JoAnn Moore and husband, James of Lenoir, N.C., Judy Rae Terry of Burlington, N.C., and Mary Avery and husband, Gene of Lenoir, N.C.; three grandchildren, Dustin Adams, Jimmy Lee Robbins and Aerial DeAngelo; two great-grandchildren, Logan Parker Robbins and Riley Alexis Blanchard; four step grandchildren, Elizabeth, Meghan, Johnathon and Luke; two step great-children, Ashby and Sophia.
Services are private.
