Louisa Rose (Scarpa) Gingerella, 92, of Golden Years Retirement Home, and formerly of Oak Lawn Terrace, Westerly, died peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2014, she was the beloved wife of the late Natale J. Gingerella.
She will be sadly missed by her son Richard N. and his wife Gloria Gingerella of Westerly, R.I. She also leaves her brother Nicholas Scarpa of New London, CT and her three grandchildren, Jared, Lisa and Jennifer. She was the great grandmother of Joshua and Jacob. She leaves several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Natalie Gingerella. She was the sister of the late Peter Scarpa, Jack Scarpa, Alphonze Scarpa, Angeline Turisco Giambrone and Lillian Gentilella.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 11 a.m., at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St., Westerly. A calling hour will precede the service from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly.
