DAYANNA A. GIL (1995-2014) Dayanna A. Gil, 18, died April 14, 2014 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Dayanna was born in Colombia and moved to Port Saint Lucie when she was very young. Dayanna Andrea Gil Saenz was and still will be a sweet little girl who had dreams like anyone else. She had the dream to graduate and become a professional, to become someone in life and to go to the military. She always worked to help out her mother and her family. She was one of daddy's little girls and she was the baby princess to her entire family. She was more than a friend, sister, daughter, princess, and a counselor. She was an outgoing person who always carried the most beautiful smile. She was capable of making anyone laugh even when people were sad she was funny, lovely, kind, responsible, and so much more. She was especially loyal and friendly, a very happy person who enjoyed every minute of her life. Those who had the opportunity to meet her will agree with me she was UNIQUE. She loved everyone and she was very honest when she expressed her feelings towards the people around her. She loved animals. She had a pet dog that was more than just a dog it was her little"baby" Pegui and we all know she always mentioned it to everybody. She loved Hello Kitty it was her favorite cartoon. She loved bright colors especially purple and pink. She was a great daughter and a great student. She taught us to live every moment of our lives like there is no tomorrow, to forgive and forget, to move on and enjoy the day, to fight the greatest battles until the last minute, and to not give up for any circumstances. Besides that she taught us how to love and how to be ourselves. We thank you for everything for every moment we got to spend with you that now become memories that will last forever in our hearts and mind. Life is short and we have to appreciate what we had before it is too late. Greatly she did, she was happy every chance she got. She enjoyed life. She went dancing and she did what she loved which was to have fun and meet friends... R.I.P (rest in peace/ paradise ) princess we got ourselves a new angel that will protect us at anytime we love you and sadly your gone but never forgotten we are not going to say good bye just because you have left us, you will always here with us, we love you, your family... My husband and I both had in her in our classes at PSLHS. She helped other students in Economics that did not speak English without being asked, she brightened Recreation class with her tennis "skills" and constant giggling as we played many sports. She will be missed by us and our students, but we will always remember what a kind and happy person she was.
