NANCY LOVE SULLIVAN COLE
Nancy Love Sullivan Cole, 91, died Thursday evening, April 17, 2014. Born August 31, 1922 in Alexandria, VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Agnes Sullivan. Surviving are two sons, David B. Cole of Waynesboro, Alach L. Cole, Jr. and his wife Marie of Locust Grove, VA; one daughter, Nancy Love Cole Baumstark and her husband Richard of Melbourne, FL; four grandchildren, Kristine, Michael, Charlie, and Stacy; nine great-grandchildren, Samantha, Rebecca, Zachary, Dalton, Jordan, Layne, Kaylie, Hannah, and Blake; her brother, Dennis K. Sullivan of Alexandria; and sister, Judith S. Clarke of Kinsale, VA.A service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 in the chapel of McDow Funeral Home, Waynesboro, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Pkwy., Charlottesville, VA 22911. My sympathy and my prayers for Cousins Nancy, Larry, and David. I remember the collection of the novels of Charles Dickens that our grandmother Agnes lovingly kept, and I always thought of my aunt Nancy as carrying on that legacy of reading and learning.
