Richard Bergman Richard (Dick) Barry Bergman was born December 30, 1946 and passed away peacefully on June 8, 2014. Dick was given 21 "bonus" years of life following a stroke in 1993. He was a Navy Seabee serving during the Vietnam War. The father of two daughters, Tiffany and Danielle, and grandfather to one, Ethan, Dick was one who loved the outdoors. He loved to be in the sun fishing, playing softball, shooting landscape photography, and relaxing around a campfire. Dick was an electrician by trade, a member of the IBEW 76 for over 30 years, and a skilled craftsman all around; he designed and built his family home with the help of family and friends. Preceded in death by his father Dick, he is survived by his daughters, grandson, his mother Donna, sister April, brother Jack along with his children Renae and Brian and his girlfriend Susanne, brother Bob along with his partner Scott, and countless cousins and extended family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jan Fleming for her years of caring assistance and for truly welcoming Dick as family in her adult family home for several years. In lieu of flowers the family welcomes you to make a donation to The American Stroke Association or the American Veterans Association. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, July 19th at a private residence. Please contact the family or inquire at the Union Hall for address information. In 1991, I purchased the "family home" that Mr. Bergman built. I then raised three children in that home for almost 25 years and appreciated his craftmanship and attention to detail. Mr. Bergman, you influenced many more than you thought. Karl Lewis

Bob & Family: I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Richard. I did not know him however, if he was anything like you, Bob, he was an angel on earth and is now an angel above. Keep your happy memories close and they will sustain you until you are together again. Big hugs my friend.

To a good friend, classmate, and man of respect, you will be missed. Even though it had been a long time since we had seen each other, the memories I have will last a lifetime Dick. Until we meet again my friend, Tom
