Kathleen Marie Hayes, 84, of West Roxbury, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the Blaire House in Milford. Born in North Attleboro, she was the daughter of the late Valcia (Devereaux) and George Fred O'Neill. She was the wife of the late James "Jim" Patrick Hayes who passed in 2006. Kathleen graduated from Roslindale High School in 1947. She had worked for many years at the Shawmut Bank of Boston. She is survived by her daughter Linda Mealey Keelan of Ashland and Michael Keelan; a brother, George F. O'Neill of West Warwick, RI; a niece Patricia O'Neill Letendre and Paul Letendre of Coventry, RI, several other nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by 3 siblings, John, Margaret, and Mary Jane. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd from 5-8pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 3rd at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church of Holliston. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Attleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Milford Humane Society, Milford, MA 01757

Linda, I have known your mom for a long time going back to the Shawmut Bank days she was just a wonderful person. Always had a smile on her face. I will keep you and the family in my thought and prayers. Mary O'Connor
