"Together Again"
George R. Priebe, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away June 30, 2014.
He was born in Cleveland and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 45 years.
George graduated from John Adams High School and was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy, going on to work as a career printer. He was a member of the American Legion Charles Faust Post 281 and the Independent Order of Foresters. George was an avid fisherman and a voracious reader.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dawn; brother, Roy Priebe; he is survived by his sons, Bruce and Alan (Elizabeth); step-daughter, Paula Knarr; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call two hours prior to a 2 p.m. funeral service on Thursday, July 3rd in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 70 West Streetsboro St., Suite 201, Hudson, OH, 44236.
