Bythella Talley, 91, of Vallejo, passed away after a long illness on Friday, June 27. She was born in Louisiana. Bythella worked at Napa State Hospital for 14 years and New Star Laundry for over 30 years. Her special interests include the Jolly Glow Club, Silver Leaf Club and Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Effie Cain.
Bythella is survived by her son, Calvin Talley of Vallejo; eight grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren and those she was like a mother to, Rebecca Bowers, Lisa Lou Harpia, Cathy Hickman, Diane Webster and Felicia DeLouth.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 5 at 11 a.m., at Union Baptist Church, 128 Encerti Ave. in Vallejo with Dr. Tommy G. Cain officiating.
Burial will take place at Skyview Memorial Lawn in Vallejo.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home.

Our deepest condolences to the Talley family @ her passing. We searched for over a year to find out where she was and just recently located her but did not have the chance to visit her. She was a dear friend to our mother, Nettie Hines and us. We will miss her smile, laugh, and words of wisdom as we know you her family will miss her even more.
