Margaret M. "Peg" Cooper (nee Carberry), age 86 Margaret M. "Peg" Cooper (nee Carberry), age 86, of Darby, passed peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Hospice Residence at Taylor Hospital. Born in Ardsley, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Margaret (nee Huber) Carberry. She was a graduate of St. Hubert High School for Girls Class of 1945. Mrs. Cooper had been a resident of Darby for 62 years. She was a longtime member of Blessed Virgin Mary Church. She had worked as a cashier at various local supermarkets. Mrs. Cooper enjoyed crocheting, baking, praying, and spending time with family. She and her late husband enjoyed traveling together. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph T. Cooper, in 2007; her son, Tommy Cooper, in 1995; and her brother, Paul Carberry. Survivors: Her children, Peg (Richard) McCullough, Patricia (William) Beaumont, Joseph T. (Barbara) Cooper Jr., Marybeth (Michael) Kitzinger; 8 grandchildren, Richard, Maureen, Michelle, William, Michael, Kristen, Jason, Daniel; 2 great-grandchildren, Jerry and Mary Kate. She was the sister of Thomas Carberry, Mary Kline, Pat Techtmann, Joan Hueter, and Nancy Elder. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear neighbors. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., Saturday at Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1101 Main Street, Darby, viewing after 9:30 a.m. Burial: SS. Peter & Paul Cem.
