BROWN, KATHLEEN MARIE Mt. Morris Age 53, died Monday, July 14, 2014 peacefully in her sleep. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at 3 PM Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Mt. Morris Chapel, 2232 E. Mt. Morris Rd. in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett officiating. Friends and family may call at the church on Saturday from 1-3PM. Contributions may be made to the family or the Kathy Brown Memorial Fund at Giveforward.com Kathy Brown Memorial Fund. Kathy was born March 18, 1961 in Flint to the late Richard (David-Dick) and Lucretia (Gregory) Beamer. She spent her youth in Davison and Kearsley areas and lived in Mt. Morris since. She married her childhood sweetheart Gary Brown on July 29, 1978. Kathy was a member of Mt. Morris Chapel. Kathy loved to decorate her house and yard for Christmas and was 2nd only to Bronners. She enjoyed buying shoes and going to rummage sales. Surviving are: husband, Gary; her fur-baby, Octavius "Gus Gus;" children, Joshua Brown of Mt. Morris, Meranda (Dominic) Garza of Clio, Alicia (Jimmy) Harris of OK; eight grandchildren, Marisa, Maiah, Kiara, Damien, Kierstyn, Mariah, Damion and Parker; siblings, Debbie (Jim) Hadden of Kearsley, Karen Brummitt (Ken) of Davison, Calvin (Cindy) Beamer of Davison, Pam (Sam) Badal of Holly, Roger (Joy) Beamer of Davison; many nieces and nephews.
