Mary Kay Duchow
Mary Kay Duchow, age 52, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly at Appleton Medical Center on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Mary Kay was born on November 10, 1961, daughter of the late Donald and Lorraine (Martzahl) Rusch. In 1980, she graduated from Appleton East High School.
Mary Kay will always be known as an outgoing and loving woman. She has a special place in her heart for taking care of children and animals. Mary Kay was an avid reader and enjoyed watching cooking shows and trying out new recipes. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Jerry; her daughter Courtney and son Danny. She is further survived by her sister, Tracy (James) Larsen; brother, James Rusch; mother-in-law, Carol Duchow; brothers-in-law, Jim (Cayelynn) and Bob (Suzanne); nieces and nephews, Michael, Misti, Jordan, Adam, Marcus and Lucas, as well as a special grandniece McKenzie. Mary Kay will also be missed by many cousins, aunts, uncles other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her infant child, her parents and grandparents, and her father-in-law LeRoy Duchow.
The funeral for Mary Kay will be held at 5:00 pm on July 29, 2014, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME DOWNOWN, 537 N. Superior Street, Appleton, with Rev. James Wiebel officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com
The Duchow family would like to thank everyone on the 8th floor at the Appleton Medical Center and Aunt Carol for their kindness and support during this difficult time.

Tracy, Misti, Corky, Michael, and Jordan - I am so sorry. I love you all so much. I am so thankful you are my family...how did I get so lucky to have you all in my life. Mary is with the rest of the family watching down. She's an angel now.
