Beatrice Mongelluzzo
AGE: 89 • Buena
Beatrice "Bea" Mongelluzzo (nee Bernardi), 89, of Buena, NJ passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 at her home where she had been under the care of family & hospice. Bea was born in Easton, PA and was a lifelong resident of Buena Boro. She was the daughter of the late Helen (Harris) & Anthony Bernardi. Bea was predeceased by her husband Tony in 1980 as well as her sisters Dorothy Bernardi, Louise Trout, Evelyn B. Mottola, Violet Mary Castello, & Josephine Stadtmueller and daughter-in-law Linda (Calabrese) Mongelluzzo. She was a long time active member of Minotola United Methodist Church. Bea loved sitting on her back porch and enjoying the flowers in her yard. She also enjoyed conversations over tea with family and friends, especially with her grandson, Devin. Her faith and her family were always foremost in her life. She loved children and was affectionately known as "Aunt Bea" by everyone in the neighborhood. And she loved decorating her home for the holidays each month and was especially proud of her collection of refrigerator magnets which she changed out monthly also. Her favorite holiday was Christmas when every room of the house was decorated as well as a spectacular display outside.
Bea is survived by her son: Anthony Mongelluzzo (Jaclyn Fresne); daughters: Susan LoGuidice (Tom) & Brenda Koshinski (David Petite); grandchildren: Anna Mongelluzzo, Gina Mongelluzzo, Devin Petite; great grandchildren: Gianna Mercado, Carmine Veras; sisters-in-law: Anna Mongelluzzo, and Antoinette Race. As well as many nieces and nephews
Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and again on Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00 am where funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am all at the Minotola United Methodist Church, Central & Pacific Ave, Minotola, NJ. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, Landisville. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Minotola United Methodist Church, PO Box 556, Minotola, NJ 08341.
