Jim Wingo was a dear friend of my late brother, Jim Noel. I shared in that friendship and admiration. Jim was a cheerful, positive person who always had positive words for all. And I still remember his great outside shooting for the Phillips Red Raiders basketball team! They didn't have a three-point line in those days, but he would have scored a lot of them with his outside set shot!

Many happy memories spending time at the Wingo home on Saulter Lane in my youth. I wish I could be in Homewood to help celebrate Mr. Wingo's life and see the family. My prayers are with each of you.
