Our beloved mother, Patricia Dischner Miller, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, August 18, 2014, at Lewis Gale Hospital Montgomery in Blacksburg, Virginia, following a long and arduous struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Patricia was one of five children born to Edward and Ella Dischner, and was raised in the East End of Pittsburgh. She graduated from St. Francis Academy in 1947, was President of the Pittsburgh Model's Club and worked for the dental practice of the late William Webb, DDS. Pat met then married the love of her life, Robert Lewis Miller in 1952. She was the secretary and treasurer of R.L. Miller, Inc. until her retirement in 1994. She is survived by her children, Mary Lynn Kreuziger (Peter) of Dunedin, Florida, Robert Karl Miller (Brenda) of Upper St. Clair, and Beth Ann Linville (Raymond) of Blacksburg, Virginia; her grandchildren, Courtney and Casey Kreuziger, Daniel, Thomas and Alec Miller, and Dax and Caitlin Linville; as well as her sister, Joan D. Clark of Salisbury, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews. Our family wishes to thank the entire staff at Asbury Place in Mt. Lebanon, the Arbors at Kroontje Health Care Center in Blacksburg, Dr. Roberson and nurses, Angela, Gretchen and Jessica on CCU at Lewis Gale Hospital Montgomery, and the many friends who have cared for and supported Mom. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Alzheimer's Association or your favorite charity. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends and family are welcome at 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, 724-941-3211, on Friday 7-9 p.m., where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
